New Joo apartments to bring carefree rental living to Kokinniitty in Espoo
New Joo apartments will bring carefree rental living to Kokinniitty in Espoo
Asuntoyhtymä has commissioned the construction of approximately 100 new Joo apartments in Kokinniitty, Espoo. The project, a collaboration between Asuntoyhtymä and the property development and investment company Ahti Invest will comprise a variety of rental apartments, from studios to two bedroom apartments in different sizes, with a total surface area of around 3000m2. The building work will start in 2022.
– We're excited about this opportunity to bring carefree rental living to Kokinniitty, where urban living meets nature, says Asuntoyhtymä's CEO Jaakko Niskanen.
Asuntoyhtymä's rental apartment brand Joo Kodit, which was launched in autumn 2021, promises carefree rental living, primarily as a result of personal service, flexibility, close-knit communities, and sustainability. All new Joo apartments have the EU energy rating 'A' for optimal energy efficiency, and geothermal heating adds to the upcoming development's sustainability credentials. What's more, the architecture of Joo apartments is both stylish and designed to stand the test of time. Communal spaces are a major priority.
– We're currently developing the communal spaces of Joo apartment complexes. According to our customer survey last year, people are willing to get to know their neighbours and participate in activities together. Loneliness is a common problem, which we're doing our best to tackle, Niskanen says.
– High quality rental apartments will continue to be in demand, concludes the Managing Director of Ahti Invest, Janne Nyblom.
Kokinniitty residents will enjoy local services and nature
Kokinniitty is located in the Suurpelto district of Espoo, a rapidly developing growth centre. Shops and services are within easy reach. The Suuris shopping centre will be at only 300 metres from the new Joo apartments. A daycare centre will soon be completed in the same block.
The residents of Kokinniitty will be able to enjoy the outdoor trails of the Central Park of Espoo, which start almost right behind the apartment complex and are well maintained all year round. 90 hectares have been allocated for parks and recreation in the area.
