A place to meet your neighbors: new resident space opened in Toppilansalmi

A new resident space in Toppilansalmi, Oulu has now been opened. The space, named Joo Hetki, serves as a shared meeting place for Joo Kodit residents at Satamatie 5, on the ground floor of our apartment complex Mallastohtori.

The new space is part of Joo Group’s long-term work to support community-oriented rental living.

An extension of your home, workspace and meeting place? Joo!

Joo Hetki is a complimentary space for residents where they can spend time, work remotely, study or organise shared activities.

Our Community Manager, Hanna-Maria Kiljo, explains the idea behind the new resident space:

Opening our new resident space, Joo Hetki, brings an opportunity to Toppilansalmi. An opportunity to pause for a conversation, organise shared moments and meet neighbours in ways other than a quick hello in the hallway. Joo Hetki invites residents to step inside and stay awhile.

Joo Hetki can become the heart of our residential communities – a place where ideas, laughter, peer support and small everyday celebrations are created. When people get to know one another, the threshold to care and help becomes lower.
